Utility Site Engineer - Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day utility installation works at site, including water supply, drainage, sewerage, irrigation, stormwater, and related utility services . Ensure site activities are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements. Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Supervisors, subcontractors, and other MEP/civil teams.

Review drawings and identify site clashes, discrepancies, and technical issues. Coordinate utility routes and levels with civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical services. Monitor manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for daily activities. Ensure proper installation, alignment, levels, slopes, supports, and connections of utility systems.

Conduct inspections and coordinate with QA/QC teams for IRs, testing, and approvals . Coordinate pressure testing, leakage testing, flushing, disinfection, and commissioning of utility systems as applicable. Ensure materials used at site are approved and comply with project specifications. Monitor daily progress and provide updates to the Project Engineer/Project Manager.

Coordinate with consultants and client representatives for site inspections and technical matters. Ensure all works comply with HSE requirements and site safety procedures . Assist in preparing daily progress reports, inspection records, material requirements, and as-built information. Monitor subcontractor activities and ensure work is completed as per the approved programme.

Coordinate rectification of quality issues and ensure timely closure of site observations. Support final testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover activities.
