Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company’s Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global’s modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.

We are seeking qualified applicants for the position: Manager, Planning – Pipelines Located: Houston Summary The Planning Manager, Pipelines is responsible for overseeing elements of major pipeline projects. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of pipeline engineering, procurement, and construction sequencing.

This new position reports to the Director, Pipeline Planning & Scheduling, and will be based at our office in Houston, Texas, with potential for travel to project locations and contractor offices. General Description Duties & Responsibilities Collaborating with contractors and functional leads to develop and maintain effective schedules from feasibility through execution.

Ownership and accountability for schedule data and supporting processes by using the schedule as a management and communications tool.

Qualifications

Required experience 10+ years of relevant planning & scheduling and project controls experience in major Oil & Gas engineering and construction projects, particularly pipeline infrastructure. Strong knowledge of linear construction, contractor management, and interaction with EPCM firms. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to efficiently summarize and prioritize information.

Strong interpersonal and communications skills. Dedicated work ethic with ability to meet deadlines, adapt to changing priorities and business needs, and succeed in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Primavera P6 and TILOS scheduling software, and Acumen Fuse. Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, and Visio skills.

Required Education Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Licensing & Certifications Preferred certifications include those from PMI: PMP, PMI-SP and AACE: PSP, EVP, CCP.
