Commercial Maintenance Engineer

Description Perform preventive maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and grounds on a commercial building portfolio throughout the San Antonio area.

QUALIFICATIONS

& SKILLS: Additional professional certifications are a plus. Minimum 2 years of direct work experience in commercial property maintenance and operations. Must be a professional, dependable, flexible, & accountable individual with effective communication skills, positive attitude, & excels at Tenant relations. Must be motivated, takes initiative to complete tasks without constant direct supervision.

Must have knowledge of facility maintenance & repairs including but not limited to, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, pluming, lighting systems & other general repairs Must have reliable transportation & good driving record ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform completion of work orders and maintenance requests, emergency repairs & response calls, and preventative maintenance.

Inspect the properties regularly and ensure all building systems (elevator, HVAC, fire, plumbing, electrical, etc.) are working properly and are well maintained. Inspect and oversee any maintenance or repairs made by third party vendors to ensure the work is done properly as per the scope of work. Responds quickly to emergency situations including after hours emergency calls Perform other duties as needed as determined by Property Manager
