Human Resources Specialist

Description Our Human Resources team believes the best way we can demonstrate Iredell Health System's values of Respect, Integrity, Communication and Collaboration is by being actively engaged in the employment needs for each individual team member. This frontline opportunity serves as a specialist focusing on employee onboarding, orientation, and contract staff.

We count on this member of our team to present and maintain an organized process for our new team members, apprentices, students and contract or interim staff. Additionally, the specialist can assist with payroll, creating badges, orientation classes and other tasks related to caring for our team members.

Requirements

High school diploma; prefer at least Associate degree in Business Administration or equivalent. Experience/knowledge with Human Resources functions. One year clerical or administrative experience, including customer service experience. Proficiency in the use of personal computers and business software. Strong Communication skills both verbal and written to create a positive environment.

Enjoyment of new tasks and projects along with the autonomy to complete routine processes. Understanding of the respect and confidentiality related to serving our team members. Physical Demands: Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time.

Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
