Grants Analyst

A Grants Analyst is a responsible professional position providing technical expertise in the administration of a grants compliance program. A Grants Analyst provides technical assistance and fiscal control over specifically assigned grant programs awarded to Orange County. Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Grants Supervisor and the general direction of the Accounting Manager.

Note: The below description may not be representative of all duties and responsibilities for this position. Monitor daily cash flow for multiple grants funds. Prepare or review the request for reimbursement to the federal government. Prepare the Federal Financial Report (FFR-425). Approve federal/state grants invoices, purchase order, p-cards, and other payments request to ensure financial compliance with federal/state grant agreement. Prepares budget amendments, budget transfer, journal vouchers entries and indirect cost invoices. Provide training and technical assistance for Orange County Departments on how to understand multi-years grant budgets. Be knowledgeable and understand on how to apply the Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and audit requirements for federal awards (2CFR part 200) . Responsible for federal financial grant compliance with the federal government. Review the time and effort payroll allocation for Orange County department managing multiple grants. Reconcile receivable with the expenditures for each grant program. Performs other duties as assigned.

Bachelor Business Administration or related field with 5 years of experience Accounting Finance Managerial Public Administration

Annual Salary Range: $61,110 - $75,000, commensurate with experience.
