Job description: The Certified Nurse’s Aide/ Home Health Aide functions under the direction of the Director of Resident Services in providing direct patient care services as outlined below. Employees may be required to lift, transfer, and transport adult clients. Staff provides personal care to clients and keeps records on personal health care activities as defined within the respective regulatory environment (State Home Health regulations).

1. Successful completion of a State approved certified nursing aide program. Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred. Registration with State registry required.
2. Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. Ability to document care given.
3. If you are required to drive a member in a Cypress vehicle, you must have a valid and active Driver License issued from any state. You must also successfully complete the Cypress of Raleigh’s Vehicle Driving Test, have an active and valid driver license and you must have a good driving record As a condition of employment, all employees of The Cypress of Raleigh must successfully pass a drug/alcohol test and a thorough criminal history check.
