Job Summary

Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests, supervisors, and team members. Responsible for all results from Expo line through the dining experience in the Black Card Room. Available Shift : Day shift: 10:30 AM-7:30 PM Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes. Will supervise multiple black card room attendants’, servers, bartenders and hosts.

Duties/Responsibilities: Possesses complete knowledge of all procedures related to the job. Continuously fosters great relationships with team members in all areas and mentors’ others to do the same. Ensures that all guests are treated in a prompt, professional and courteous manner. Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests, supervisors, and team members.

Sets standards by being cooperative, helpful and friendly, and by presenting a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance. Integral in ensuring strict adherence to all policies and procedures. Assist in the weekly inventory of all supplies to ensure all equipment and products needed is on hand and properly rotated. Assists in meeting budgeted figures for labor and other expenses.

Ensures excellent guest service. Notify team members of changes in policy and procedure. Must work closely with Department Trainer to ensure all new hires are trained both with classroom and floor programs. Ensure all existing team members attend follow-up training sessions. Communicate any problems or concerns to the Admirals Restaurant Manager.

Works with all departments to ensure proper communication. Participate in departmental meetings as required. Maintain files in such a way that another supervisor could perform efficiently in the event of his/her absence. Promotes the Casino through good will and positive attitude. Maintains high sanitation and safety standards.

Maintains security of products and areas assigned to the department. Sets high standards by complying with all departmental rules, policies, and procedures. Ensures that all Team Members are treated in a fair and consistent manner. All other duties as assigned. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 1 year as a supervisor in a full-service restaurant. A strategic thinker and creative problem solver who takes the initiative and ownership Self-starter with a creative mind and a track record of putting ideas into practice and assessing results Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registrations: Gaming license/registration as required by jurisdiction(s).

Able to obtain and maintain Food Managers Certificate. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to be a TEAM player Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and team members. Demonstrates the ability to establish credibility and rapport with operating leaders.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to work while standing for hours at a time. Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times. Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week, including holidays. Ability to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise, bright lights, smoke, and dust.
