Site Civil Engineer

A growing and innovative engineering firm is looking to add a Site Civil Engineer for their Denver team!

Responsibilities

Serve as a technical lead for site civil/land development projects Prepare/oversee site design (grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, and roadway improvements) Lead development of construction documents, calculations, and technical exhibits Perform/review hydrology and hydraulic analyses and stormwater management designs Coordinate with internal disciplines, subconsultants, and project managers Support entitlement/permitting efforts with local jurisdictions and reviewing agencies Mentor/train junior staff Review work prepared by junior engineers and provide technical guidance Participate in client meetings and assist with responding to agency review comments Apply/interpret applicable local, state, and federal codes and design standards Support quality control and consistency across project deliverables Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field 5+ years of experience in site civil / land development design PE License Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D Demonstrated experience leading technical design tasks and coordinating project teams Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater design, and permitting Familiar with local jurisdictional standards and permitting processes Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Salary is commensurate with experience.
