Estimation Engineer / Quantity Surveyor - Mechanical

Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work for mechanical projects. Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and other mechanical systems, as applicable. Prepare cost estimates, material take-offs, and labour cost calculations.

Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure competitive pricing. Prepare tender submissions, commercial proposals, and cost breakdowns. Coordinate with design, procurement, project, and commercial teams to clarify technical and commercial requirements. Identify discrepancies, missing information, and potential cost risks in tender documents.

Prepare rate analysis for materials, labour, equipment, and subcontract works. Follow up with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations and technical clarifications. Maintain estimation records, cost databases, and historical project pricing information. Assist in value engineering and cost optimisation while ensuring compliance with project specifications.

Support post-tender clarifications, negotiations, and handover of awarded projects to the execution team.
