Remote Routing Dispatcher (Evening Shift)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced routing dispatcher to build each day's local delivery operation. Every evening, you will route our fleet of 15 box trucks based on the next day's volume. When volume exceeds what the box trucks can handle, you will plan and build trailer loads for our tractor division. You will also be the designated backup for our lead dispatcher.

This role works 4:00 AM – 12:00 PM Eastern Time What you'll do Route about 15 box trucks every night for the next day's local deliveries, adjusting to daily volume Build efficient multi-stop routes that account for delivery windows, truck capacity, and driver availability Plan and build trailer loads for the tractor division when volume exceeds box-truck capacity Make sure the next day's operation is fully routed and dispatched before ending the shift Cover the lead dispatcher's responsibilities and schedule during their PTO Communicate clearly with drivers, warehouse staff, and the morning dispatcher Qualifications Fluent in English and Spanish, spoken and written (required) 2+ years of experience routing local, multi-stop delivery operations Experience with load planning: truck and trailer capacity, stop sequencing, delivery windows Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Schedule flexibility to cover another shift when needed Reliable high-speed internet, a quiet workspace, and a working phone/headset Preferred Knowledge of the tri-state area (NY/NJ/CT) Experience in produce, refrigerated, or food distribution Experience with dispatch, routing, or TMS software About EXP Group EXP Group is a produce distribution and logistics company with operations in New Jersey, New York, and Texas.
