Reports To: V.P. of Category Management and Sales Key Responsibilities: Purchase Assigned Vendors Daily Review Reports #112(Out of Stock Report), #165(Buyer Low Stock Warning Report) New Item Setup Coordinate New Item Information with Marketing and Merchandising Load Promotional Allowances/ (Deals) Item Price Change Maintenance Vendor Maintenance – Keep vendor notes and information updated.

Maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure product availability, cost control and service levels. Trace & Expedite PO’s Coordinate Backhauls with Operations Manage Vendor Returns Create Category Cubes / Quarterly Reports Work with Merchandising Manager concerning Retailer Accruals Work with Vendors to Alleviate Overstocks

• Report #157(Excess Inventory Report) Support Category reviews through reporting and item performance analysis Qualifications: Proven experience in a retail or purchasing environment. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Personal Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships. Proactive and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure. Team player with a collaborative approach to work. Working Conditions: In- Office environment with occasional travel to meet suppliers or attend trade shows. Full-time position with standard working hours; additional hours may be required during peak seasons.
