In this dynamic role, you will travel directly to customer sites to deliver top-tier mechanical service, expert repairs, and exceptional customer care. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESResponsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following duties and may adapt to support evolving business needs: Customer Relationship Building: Professionally engage with clients in the field and in-house to foster trust, deliver transparent service, and build lasting business relationships. Diagnostics & Technical Recommendations: Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and author clear, actionable job descriptions and service recommendations. Maintenance & Equipment Repair: Expertly service, repair, and maintain gasoline, LPG, electric, and diesel-powered forklifts and material handling equipment. Precision Mechanical Work: Execute hands-on repairs, including replacing worn components, adjusting brakes, aligning wheels, tightening body bolts, and performing routine vehicle lubrication. Parts & Inventory Knowledge: Assess component wear to accurately determine whether parts require repair or complete replacement. Operational Safety & Heavy Labor: Practice continuous workplace safety while operating power equipment and performing heavy physical work as required. Accurate Work Order Management: Timely complete and process work orders and documentation to ensure seamless billing and operational accuracy. Effective Communication & Escalation: Collaborate closely with team supervisors, promptly escalating complex issues to ensure fast resolution. Fleet Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and professional company service van, immediately reporting any vehicle maintenance needs.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Forklift or Material Handling Technician. Driving Record & Mobility: Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record (verified via current DMV report) and the willingness to drive a company vehicle to customer locations.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly. Customer-First Mindset: High aptitude for customer service, paired with a professional, solution-oriented attitude. Professional Image: Maintained neat, professional personal appearance and presentation in line with company standards.

Continuous Learning: Commitment to ongoing professional development and technical training provided by management. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Strength & Lifting: Ability to safely and independently lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. Stamina & Mobility: Capacity to perform repetitive physical actions throughout the shift, including stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, squatting, climbing, and kneeling.

Equipment Operation: Proficiency in safely operating power machinery, hand tools, pneumatic tools, band saws, grinders, steam cleaners, and parts washers. Vehicle Operation: Physically capable of safely operating and maneuvering company service vehicles.
