Part-Time Preschool Teacher Location: Enterprise, AL 36330 Organization: Enterprise Family YMCA, Association of YMCA of Greater Montgomery Position Overview The Enterprise Family YMCA, part of the Association of YMCA of Greater Montgomery, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Preschool Teacher to join our team.

This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for preschool-aged children, fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote learning and development. Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment. Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and daily activities.

Collaborate with YMCA staff to support program goals and maintain compliance with YMCA policies and licensing regulations. Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental milestones, and any incidents.

Qualifications

Previous experience working with preschool-aged children preferred. Knowledge of early childhood development and best teaching practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work part-time hours as scheduled. CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain. Pass background checks and meet all YMCA hiring requirements.
