Electrical Engineer – Maintenance Department: Maintenance Industry: Manufacturing Experience: 2–5 Years Qualification: Diploma / BE in Electrical or Electronics Engineering Job Location: Meril Endo Surgery Pvt Ltd, Chala, Vapi, Gujarat Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer with practical experience in industrial automation, PLC programming, sensors, electrical control panels, and machine troubleshooting.

The candidate will be responsible for installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and automation systems used in manufacturing machinery.

Key Responsibilities

1. PLC understanding & Industrial Automation

• Configure, and troubleshoot PLCs used in machinery.
• Work with PLC platforms such as Siemens, Mitsubishi, Delta, Omron, or equivalent.
• Develop and modify PLC logic, interlocks, timers, counters, and sequencing operations.
• Troubleshoot PLC inputs/outputs, communication errors, and machine control faults.
• Work with HMI systems for machine operation, monitoring, and fault diagnosis.
• Support automation upgrades and process improvement projects.

1. Sensors & Instrumentation

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot industrial sensors, including: o Proximity sensors (inductive and capacitive) o Photoelectric sensors o Limit switches and position sensors o Pressure, temperature, and level sensors o Encoders and other feedback devices
• Understand sensor wiring, signal types, and PLC input/output interfacing.
• Calibrate and test sensors to ensure reliable machine operation.

1. Machine Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Diagnose and resolve electrical and automation faults in production machines.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Troubleshoot motors, drives, control circuits, sensors, and PLC-controlled systems.
• Minimize machine downtime and ensure maximum equipment availability.
• Maintain maintenance logs and records of breakdowns and corrective actions. Reporting To: Maintenance Manager / Plant Head Salary: As per experience and technical competency Requirements Required Skills
• Hands-on experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Good knowledge of industrial sensors and electrical control systems.
• Experience with electrical panels, wiring diagrams, relays, contactors, and motor controls.
• Working knowledge of VFDs, servo drives, and HMI systems.
• Ability to diagnose electrical faults and resolve machine breakdowns.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical safety and preventive maintenance.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Experience
• Experience in manufacturing industries and automated production machinery.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic control systems.
• Experience in machine installation, commissioning, and automation retrofitting.
• Knowledge of safety relays, emergency-stop circuits, and machine interlocks. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
