Banquet Server

Job Details: Job Location: Arlington Resort Hotel and Spa

• Hot Springs, AR, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Travel Percentage: None, A Banquet Server interacts with guests in a positive and friendly manner to ensure they have a great experience when dining and/or meeting at the hotel. The server will be attentive to our guests making them feel welcome, comfortable, and relaxed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring events are on time.
• Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in all areas in which the event is taking place
• Communicate any areas of need, problems, and concern to banquet manager.
• Ensure each guest has a pleasant dining experience by delivering items, fulfilling guest requests, removing courses, replenishing utensils, and refilling glasses.
• Have knowledge of:

1. All hotel facilities, services, and hours of operation.
2. Entertainment and special events scheduled in the hotel.

• Must be flexible to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain a clean and neat work area and appearance.
• Know all safety and emergency procedures.
• Adhere to hotel's dress code policy.
• Perform other related duties as assignedQualifications:
• One-year prior hotel banquet experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Professional and positive demeanor.
• Truly enjoy working with the public in a variety of situations.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks and functions well under pressure.
• Ability to perform job function with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
• Ability to work cohesively with co-workers
