Slot Attendant (PT)
Job description
Consistently provide superior customer service while assisting guest with jackpot payouts and other requests. Call-in, pick-up and pay out jackpots. When necessary, sign for jackpot fills Obtain authorized signatures on jackpot slips Make minor repairs on slot machines Knowledge of the Casino Control Act and attendant regulations as well as Caesars internal controls, policies, and procedures Support and maintain Caesars courtesy guidelines Consistently demonstrates superior customer service skills by displaying Spotlight on Success behaviors.
Maintains upbeat, positive attitude, positive energy and enthusiasm from one interaction to the next. Creates an atmosphere of luck and celebrates customer wins. Is ready to serve and informed of daily information; builds relationships by greeting guests with a warm, friendly verbal greeting. Anticipates needs and provides fast, flawless service.
Checks for satisfaction and properly uses the Service Recovery process to resolve problems when they exist. Promotes Total Rewards programs and card membership. Provides a warm farewell and thanks guests for visiting. High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Casino experience preferred Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the Casino. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned area. Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment, including a 10 key adding machine, PC computers.
Ability to obtain the appropriate work authorization per gaming regulations required. Ability to work in a drug free environment and pass a chemical dependency test, as required. Must be able to walk, stand 80% of the time, bend, push, pull, climb stairs and run. Must be able to perform tasks requiring repetitive motion.
Must be able to work in a moderate noise environment Must be able to work in smoke-filled environment. Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
