CUHK Business School Project Co-ordinator II (carrying the job title of ‘Programme Executive’), Doctor of Business Administration Programmes The CUHK Business School is a leading business school and a pioneer in business education in Hong Kong. Since its establishment in Hong Kong in 1963, the CUHK Business School has gained world recognition of nurturing business leaders with immense contributions in Asia Pacific.
The School has been offering a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes with over 6,500 students from 30+ countries/regions, as well as executive education. It has one of the most extensive alumni networks in the region, with over 49,000 alumni around the world. The Doctor of Business Aadministration (DBA) Programme is a highly selective programme that aims to attract senior executives and business leaders at sizable organisations based in Hong Kong, Chinese Mainland and beyond who have research interests.
The programme is looking for a seasoned Project Co-ordinator II to play an important role in the rapid development of the DBA Programme. Reporting to the Programme Director and Associate Director to achieve the strategic goals, the appointee will be responsible for (a) formulating and implementing programme branding, marketing, admission, and outreach initiatives, including content development and social media management; (b) co-ordinating admissions activities, recruitment events, and stakeholder engagement initiatives; (c) supporting alumni relations, corporate outreach, and partnership development activities; (d) supporting programme classes and academic activities; (e) supporting student-related matters, graduation arrangements, and other academic administration activities; and (f) performing other impromptu duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Working outside normal office hours, including weekends, and business travel outside Hong Kong will be required. Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree; (ii) at least 3 years’ full-time post-qualification work experience, preferably gained from higher education institutions, business organisations, or sizeable corporations; (iii) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua); (iv) strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior executives, prospective students, current students, alumni, faculty members, and other stakeholders; and (v) a proactive, collaborative and positive work attitude, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently and under pressure.
Having knowledge of the business environment and higher education landscape in Chinese Mainland, as well as established connections with corporations and professional bodies will be an advantage. Shortlisted candidates may be invited to sit for written test(s). Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
