Quality Technician I

• Kings Mountain, NC, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: High School, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Travel Percentage: None, Overview: As a Quality Technician I, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standards. You will play a vital role in conducting quality inspections, performing tests, and analyzing data to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Inspections (With Supervision): Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality specifications. Functional testing of handheld extinguishers to UL requirements. Documentation and Reporting (With Supervision): Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspection results, test data, and quality documentation.

Communicate quality issues and discrepancies to appropriate quality leadership team.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a quality assurance or inspection role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment. Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality management system requirements and quality assurance principles preferred. Proficiency in conducting quality inspections preferred.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and documentation. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Self-starter with experience in a fast-paced environment preferred. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Proficiency in MS Office applications and basic computer skills.

Perform other duties as assigned by Lead or Supervisor.
