You will lead a dedicated on-site crew of material handlers and equipment operators, serving as the trusted primary liaison between facility operations and federal agency partners. Collaborate with agency stakeholders: Partner daily with client representatives, including the National Archives and Records Administration Shipping Coordinator and on-site Points of Contact, to communicate status updates, address workflow adjustments, and immediately resolve any inventory discrepancies. Ensure safety and chain-of-custody compliance: Enforce Occupational Safety and Health Administration safety standards across all equipment usage and manual handling up to 50 pounds, while rigorously executing the 12-step chain-of-custody verification process and joint trailer security seal inspections.
What You’ll Bring The ideal candidate will have: Proven supervisory experience leading operational teams within records management, commercial relocation, warehousing, or logistics environments. Strong functional knowledge of sequential inventory tracking, chain-of-custody verification systems, and safe material handling equipment operations.
Proven ability to exercise sound independent judgment, resolve complex operational bottlenecks in real time, and uphold the highest standards of workplace integrity. United States citizenship with no dual citizenship (required to satisfy federal "Not Releasable to Foreign Nationals" security standards), with the ability to successfully complete National Archives and Records Administration orientation and Internal Revenue Service Disclosure and Safeguards Training under Internal Revenue Code Section 6103 prior to handling records.
