Boiler Operator

Operates the steam plant in a safe,#efficient manner to adequately generate steam and heat to meet the needs of the hospital.# Operate and maintain boilers, other auxiliary equipment, and accessory safety equipment in compliance with statutes and regulations of various regulatory agencies and department procedure. REQUIREMENTS:# High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read, write, and communicate in English; Current Massachusetts license as a second class fireman; six months experience as a second class fireman in a large or institutional/commercial environment
