Here's The Role LCRA is looking for a Commercial Contract Agent to join our technology & telecom team in Supply Chain. We’re looking for someone with superior attention to detail and organizational skills. As a Commercial Contract Agent, you will review agreements, collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, negotiate with suppliers, and partner with Legal to negotiate favorable agreements for LCRA.
Our ideal candidate is someone with experience in negotiating contracts, with knowledge of technology, cybersecurity, or telecommunications. How You’ll Contribute Negotiate new contracts with selected suppliers Process contract amendments Review Software License Agreements Contribute to LCRA’s standard contract templates How You’re Qualified Six or more years of experience in procurement, contract administration, inventory management or other relevant experience.
A degree in business, supply management, economics, finance or other relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience. How You’ll Stand Out Experience in contract negotiations Knowledge of purchasing processes for goods and services Understanding of technology, cybersecurity, or telecommunications.
