Status: Non-Exempt Reports to: Executive Housekeeper JOB SUMMARY Our Room Attendants communicate with guests in a friendly and welcoming manner with a smile. They ensure the hotel is clean throughout the day responsible for being knowledgeable about the hotel services and amenities. Provide excellent service to hotel guest rooms in a devoted and efficient manner. Able to clean assigned rooms while adhering to company standards for cleanliness and appearance standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

& FUNCTIONS Operational Responsibilities Cleaning & freshening of rooms Vacuuming, making beds, and changing linens Cleaning bathrooms, and general organization of guest belongings and furnishings Guest Services Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service. Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints.

Ensure guest satisfaction by accommodating special requests Team Support and Training Assist in training new room attendants as needed. Support team performance by collaborating with colleagues. Ensure compliance with Valencia Hotel policies and industry standards Communication and Reporting Communicate effectively with the executive housekeeper and other housekeeping staff.

Report any incidents or safety concerns immediately Safety & Compliance Follow all hotel policies and procedures. Adhere to safety standards and maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Strong verbal and written communication skills Effective time management and problem-solving skills Ability to work well with a team and demonstrate attention to detail Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal abilities Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role is preferred Experience using POS systems relating to hotel influenced software Physical Requirements Standing/Walking: Frequent, including standing for long periods of time Lifting/Carrying: Up to 50 lbs.
