About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our team. As a physician assistant/nurse practitioner at Joint Relief Institute, you will play an essential role in helping patients with joint pain and arthritis find relief through cutting-edge treatments and therapies.

You will work in collaboration with our physicians and healthcare team to provide exceptional care to our patients and be involved in their evaluation of joint pain and arthritis to determine the best course of treatment. Location: Orland Park, IL Job Type: Full-time Pay: Starting at $100,000 - $110,000/year Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive physical assessments, diagnose, and treat patients under the supervision of a physician.

Provide exemplary patient care. Conduct viscosupplementation using the latest technology and the newest clinically researched products. Develop and implement patient management plans and record patient progress, documenting notes in EMR. Conduct consults and follow-up appointments. Work collaboratively with staff and other healthcare professionals, including physical therapist referrals, to provide comprehensive patient care.

Educate and counsel patients about their treatment plans, including self-care, exercises, and medication guidelines. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Adhere to all company policies and regulations, as well as healthcare laws and regulations. Stay up-to-date on the latest research and treatment options for joint pain and arthritis.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and successful completion of an approved Physician Assistant program. Hold an NCCPA certification. Current Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner license for the state of Illinois. Must be CPR/BLS certified. No experience required, new grads are welcomed and we will provide the necessary training for the procedure.

Excellent knowledge of medical procedures, conditions, and diagnostics. Experience with x-ray-guided joint injections is preferred. Familiarity with EMR systems. Ability to build rapport with patients and a strong commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
