Repair Technician

Job Summary

The Repair Technician is responsible for in-house repairs on guitars that range from basic to expert level repairs. The role is a blend of craftsmanship and quality that focuses on industry standards. Previous guitar repair experience is required.

Essential Functions

Learn and participate in all aspects of repair. Repair work includes: finishing, electronics, fretwork. Candidates will be responsible for knowledge of completely dismantling a guitar to its basic components and rebuilding the guitar. Provide repair work to other departments as necessary. Learn and execute standard operating procedures.

95% pass rate based on production requirements. Understands and meets quality standards (Specs.) Maintains product flow at appropriate rate. Adheres to department protocols (5S and Safety) Required Skills/Abilities: Strong attention to detail. Outstanding time management skillset with the ability to prioritize without direct supervision.

Solutions oriented approach to challenges/issues. Finishing experience is preferred.

Education and Experience

Results oriented and driven, with a track record for delivering to plan. Must be 18 years of age or older. Guitar repair experience is required. Physical Demands: Must be able to stand all day and lift guitars throughout the day.
