UNIX SQL Production support engineer

Responsibilities

• Monitor production applications and ensure system availability. • Investigate and resolve production incidents within SLA timelines. • Troubleshoot UNIX/Linux server and application-related issues. • Analyze logs and identify root causes of recurring problems. • Execute SQL queries for data validation, issue investigation, and reporting. • Work closely with development, database, and infrastructure teams to resolve issues. • Support application deployments, releases, and change requests. • Perform health checks and monitor batch jobs, interfaces, and services. • Create and maintain operational documents, SOPs, and knowledge articles. • Participate in on-call support and major incident management activities. • Ensure adherence to support processes and operational procedures.
