Physician Assistant, Orthopedic Surgery

Health. Partners has an exciting opportunity for an experienced orthopedic physician assistant to help us to grow and build our orthopedic and trauma service at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee. This position will coordinate patient care and assist our surgeons in directing post operative inpatient and trauma care for our orthopedic patients based at St.

Francis Regional Medical Center including admissions and discharges. Daily rounding with no nights. Monthly weekend rounding and/or call responsibilities as assigned. This position is part of a very collegial and supportive team including advanced practice providers and orthopedic surgeons. In addition to the clinical aspects of this position, this individual will be part of the development and growth of this program.

Qualifications

Certified and licensed Physician Assistant.

Preferred qualifications

Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in orthopedic surgery in an inpatient setting with trauma experience and the ability to see patients independently. To apply: Please apply directly to this posting.
