Shifts available are: Sun-Wed (4/10hr shifts) 6am-4:30pm Wed-Sat (4/10hr shifts) 6am-4:30pm Mon-Fri 2pm-10:30PM ($3hr shift premium) Candidates should be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced shop environment and capable of performing a wide range of maintenance and repair duties on heavy-duty equipment and transport units.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on diesel-powered equipment Perform preventative maintenance inspections and scheduled service work Repair and maintain hydraulic systems, steering components, suspension systems, and driveline assemblies Troubleshoot and repair air brake systems and lighting/electrical faults Complete tire service and general mechanical repairs Perform welding and fabrication work as needed Service HVAC and air conditioning systems on fleet equipment Maintain accurate repair documentation and communicate equipment needs effectively Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in diesel, heavy equipment, trailer, or fleet maintenance required Ability to safely use diagnostic and repair equipment Class A CDL is preferred but not required Candidates must provide their own standard hand tools; specialty and shop equipment are supplied by the company Working knowledge of: Hydraulics Air brake systems Electrical diagnostics Diesel engines Suspension and steering systems Preventative maintenance procedures Welding and fabrication
