PR & Events Intern (India - Remote)

This is a remote position. PR & Events Intern Vulcury Venture Studio | Remote | Full-Time | 12 Weeks About Vulcury Vulcury is a California-based venture studio building and scaling companies at the intersection of AI, advanced manufacturing, asset management, real estate, and education. Our portfolio includes Trustbridge Design & Manufacturing, Calisade Asset Management and alongside AI-driven ventures in active incubation.

We build around structural shifts. The people who work here think in systems. The Role Most communications internships are press clippings and event check-in desks. This isn't that. This is a strategic communication apprenticeship. You will work directly with leadership to shape how Vulcury and its portfolio companies are perceived across media, trade press, industry awards, and the events where sector conversations actually happen.

The work is real, the output is public, and the brands you influence operate in consequential industries. You will need to write well, think clearly, plan carefully, and move fast across multiple companies simultaneously.

What You'll Do

Media Relations Research and build targeted media lists across AI, manufacturing, investment, and real estate verticals. Draft press releases, pitch emails, and media briefs. Track coverage, coordinate interviews, and maintain press contact databases. Trade Press & Thought Leadership Identify relevant trade publications and editorial calendars.

Support drafting and placement of contributed articles and expert commentary. Help position Vulcury's portfolio founders as credible voices in their sectors. Awards & Recognition Monitor industry awards, innovation lists, and rankings. Draft compelling submissions that distil company achievements into persuasive narratives.

Maintain a live awards pipeline with deadlines and submission status. Events & Speaking Opportunities Research and evaluate industry conferences, summits, trade shows, and investor forums across portfolio verticals. Identify and secure speaking slots, panel placements, and sponsorship opportunities for leadership and founders.

Support planning and execution of Vulcury-hosted events, from product launches and press briefings to roundtables and virtual sessions. Draft speaker abstracts, bios, briefing documents, and event press materials. Coordinate media attendance, on-site interviews, and post-event coverage. Maintain a live events calendar with deadlines, logistics, and outcomes.

Who We're Looking For The non-negotiables: Exceptional writing that is concise, persuasive, and structured Ability to synthesise complex ideas into accessible narratives Strong research instincts and intellectual curiosity Organised, detail-oriented project management across deadlines and logistics Comfort managing multiple brands and workstreams simultaneously Genuine interest in AI, venture building, and capital markets Experience planning or coordinating events, conferences, or speaker programmes Experience with media CRM tools (Zoho CRM,.

Meltwater, Cision, Muck Rack) or event platforms (Zoho Campaign, Zoho Suits, Eventbrite, Luma, Hopin) Prior work in PR, journalism, editorial, debate, or event management A background in journalism, mass communication, PR, or event management is preferred, but we care more about what you can write and deliver than where you studied.
