Journeyman Mechanic

Provide journeyman knowledge and skills. Perform service, repair, and installation of mechanical and electrical systems for utility, plumbing, electronic, heating, ventilating, air conditions (HVAC and humidity control in 18th century original and reconstruction buildings as well as 19th – 21st century buildings. Monitor mechanical systems for unusual operations and initiate correct actions.

Assist in the training other mechanics. Demonstrate safe work practices in all trade related work assignments. Assure compliance with appropriate safety policies and procedures with applicable Federal, state and local codes, regulations and requirements.
