• Parker, AZ, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Shift: Day, POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for supporting laboratory operations by performing patient specimen analysis under the direct supervision of a medical technologist. Duties include accurately entering test results into the laboratory information system, promptly reporting critical (panic) values to the appropriate medical technologist or pathologist, and ensuring all equipment and work areas are properly cleaned, disinfected, and sterilized. Maintains laboratory supply inventory and assists in processing specimens in hematology, chemistry, and blood bank departments, following established protocols and supervisory guidance.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma/GED and Documented Traning for the testing performed. Or Associates Degree in Laboratory Science or 60 semester hours with lab science (including biology and chemistry). Plus training and competenct documentation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
