JOB TITLE: Paraprofessional QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School diploma or equivalent Preferred and Required Once Hired: Passing score on the Para. Pro Exam OR Associate's degree or higher
2. Must be minimum 19 years of age. DETAILS: Full-Time Position (183 DAY/9 MONTH EMPLOYEE) Health Insurance, Benefits, TRSL retirement Salary is Based on Experience- starting salary: $23,613 PLUS $7,000 Stipend Hours: 7:00-3:00 OVERVIEW OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist certified teachers in preparing classroom activities, maintaining discipline, and managing classroom behavior Assist students in drills and activities and/or in small group instruction Perform clerical duties at they pertain to record-keeping and instruction of the students Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly classroom Assist in student health needs, personal hygiene, and movement of students Assist with student folders, notes, assignments, and testing as needed Performs other duties as assigned by principal.
