Diagnostic Imaging Assistant- Per Diem

Provides clerical support for the Diagnostic Imaging department. Assures diagnostic care is made available to each patient through referrals, appointments, and services. Assists in the coordination of testing coverage. Assists DI department by answering telephones, patient scheduling, and obtaining physician orders prior to testing. Works closely with Patient Financial Services to assure compliance and maximum reimbursements. Manages the maintenance of medical records, chart filing, and the department’s medical chart system.
