What You'll Do

Supplier Quality & Performance Evaluate and qualify new and existing suppliers to ensure compliance with quality and performance standards. Partner with Purchasing and Supply Chain teams to maintain and improve our approved supplier network. Monitor supplier performance and drive measurable quality improvements. Quality Systems & Compliance Develop and implement incoming quality control processes, inspection plans, and testing protocols.

Ensure materials and components consistently meet specifications and quality requirements. Review and maintain supplier quality documentation, certifications, and related records. Auditing & Problem Solving Conduct supplier audits and assessments to verify compliance with quality management systems and industry standards.

Lead root cause investigations and corrective action activities related to supplier quality concerns. Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to prevent recurring issues. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve supplier quality, reduce waste, lower costs, and increase efficiency. Champion the use of quality tools and methodologies to enhance supplier performance and business results.

Build strong supplier relationships focused on partnership, accountability, and long-term success. Safety Promote and support a Barletta Safe culture by modeling safe behaviors and proactively identifying opportunities to reduce workplace risk.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field. Experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline. Strong knowledge of quality management systems, quality standards, and supplier quality processes. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization. Experience with quality methodologies and tools such as Six Sigma, FMEA, 8D, or similar approaches. Ability to travel to supplier locations for audits and inspections.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience within manufacturing environments. Marine, recreational vehicle, automotive, or related industry experience. Continuous improvement certification or training.
