Job description
This position is responsible for preparing high quality food to Designated Assisted Living (DAL) residents according to the dietary guidelines, recipes and the client’s care plan. The Cook is responsible for ensuring that all items are prepared according to the client’s care plan while always adhering to the strictest standards of food safety.
As a team member, the incumbent is responsible to keep ongoing liaison with clients, team members, and significant others. The Cook will ensure that service delivery is carried out in accordance with the Excel’s Philosophy and Policies while ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations by adherence to all sanitary and safe food handling guidelines at all times.
