About our role Join our financial regulation practice working with Dale Rayner , a leading banking & finance partner with deep expertise in regulatory frameworks, AML/CTF, licensing and derivatives. He advises major banks and financial institutions on complex regulatory issues, market infrastructure and evolving regimes, including digital finance and energy transition.

This role will suit a Solicitor/Senior Associate who wants to focus on high-end regulatory advisory work while maintaining exposure to market-facing transactions. What you’ll do

  • Advise clients on financial services regulation, including AFSL licensing, exemptions and compliance frameworks
  • Work on AML/CTF obligations, financial crime risk and regulatory change projects
  • Provide strategic advice on regulatory structuring across financing, derivatives and market products
  • Support clients navigating emerging regimes, including digital assets, payments and carbon markets
  • Engage directly with clients on business-critical regulatory issues and risk management What we’re looking for
  • Experience in financial regulation from a top-tier or international firm
  • Strong understanding of AFSL, AML/CTF and financial services compliance
  • Experience advising banks, financial institutions or corporates on regulatory frameworks
  • Clear, commercial approach to complex legal and regulatory issues
  • Ability to lead matters and build trusted client relationships
