Truck/Trailer Mechanic

Seeking Experienced or Entry Level Truck/Trailer Mechanic LJ Rogers seeking a seasoned truck/trailer mechanic but we have an entry level position available as well. LJ Rogers is a long-haul transportation service specializing in temperature-controlled freight. At LJ Rogers we take pride in our equipment with emphasis on maintaining and inspecting on a predetermined schedule.

Our equipment consists of newer model Kenworth T680’s powered by Paccar MX-13 and Freightliner Cascadia’s Powered by Detroit DD-15 ranging from 2015-2022. A successful candidate will be dependable, safety conscious, have consistent on-time performance, strong customer service skills, and the ability to follow instructions.

Duties:

• General Maintenance
• DOT Annual Inspections
• PM's
• Light repairs
• Bearings and Seals
• ABS and Air Brake Systems
• Aftertreatment system repairs Benefits:

• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Required)
• Valid Drivers license with the ability to obtain a CDL-A
• Own Basic Hand Tools Preferred Qualifications:
• Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred)
• Fleet Maintenance experience
