Junior Mechanical Designer

Ready to make connectivity from space universally accessible, secure and actionable? Then you've come to the right place! E-Space is bridging Earth and space to enable hyper-scaled deployments of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and services. We are building a highly-advanced low Earth orbit (LEO) space system that will fundamentally change the design, economics, manufacturing and service delivery associated with traditional satellite and terrestrial IoT systems.

We're intentional, we're unapologetically curious and we're 100% committed to innovate space-based communications and deliver actionable intelligence that will expand global economies, protect space and our planet and enhance our overall quality of life. The E-Space Manufacturing team builds the world's most advanced aerospace products at high rate and high precision.

As a Staff Mechanical Systems Designer, you will be the senior technical anchor for mechanical systems design across E-Space's automated manufacturing lines. You'll own the architecture of complex mechanical systems - fixtures, frames, motion assemblies, and the integration of automation hardware - and set the design standards the rest of the team builds on.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who has delivered production-grade mechanical systems and wants to shape how a fast-scaling aerospace manufacturing team works. This position reports to the Manufacturing Engineering leadership team.
