Adaptive Aquatics Instructors

The part-time position is available at Dahl, Houser and Bigley. Shift Details: This position is part-time 4-5 hours. All shifts are on the weekend.

Responsibilities

Creating Swim Lesson Curriculum Providing behavior modification as needed Enforcing safety regulations Applying appropriate policies and procedures Setting up and taking down equipment Requirements Good social and communication skills working with youth and adults YMCA Swim Instructor or American Red Cross W.S.I (preferred, not required) First Aid and CPR Certifications (preferred, not required) Swim team, swim instructor, OR lifeguard experience preferred Ability to lift up to 50lbs Benefits FREE Adult Y membership (+ discount on Family Membership) 50% Discount on Y programs 403(b) Retirement account 12% Retirement after 2 years and 1,000 hours per year Free Employee Assistance Program (EAP) An Equal Opportunity Employer
