Position: Administrative Assistant – Shipping Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Putnam, CT (Onsite) About the Opportunity: Symbiotic Services is seeking an Administrative Assistant – Shipping to provide essential administrative and operational support within a manufacturing environment. This role is key to ensuring smooth office operations, accurate inventory tracking, and effective communication across teams.

Key Responsibilities

Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, and mail Support inventory control processes, including cycle counts, production entry, and inventory transfers within internal systems Prepare, edit, and maintain documents, reports, and presentations Perform accurate data entry and maintain records across multiple systems Coordinate meetings, events, and company activities Provide customer service to internal teams and external partners, resolving inquiries efficiently Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems Complete general administrative tasks such as scanning, copying, and document handling Assist with special projects and additional tasks as assigned Qualifications: Strong organizational and communication skills Proficiency in data entry and administrative systems Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy Professional and dependable work ethic
