Clerk Patient Accounts

Responsibilities

Performs billing, collection, and account analysis activities necessary for third party reimbursement and/or direct payment of services rendered.

Qualifications

Demonstrates written, interpersonal, or communication skills as appropriate to position Working knowledge of insurance regulations, procedure and diagnosis coding, and automated insurance billing Desired Qualifications: Working knowledge of automated medical insurance billing including Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross and commerical Working knowledge of medical collections Performs billing, collection, and account analysis activities necessary for third party reimbursement and/or direct payment of services rendered.
