Cosmetology Instructor

Tricoci University of Beauty Culture prepares students for careers in cosmetology, esthetics, barbering, and nail technology through hands-on, industry-focused education. This role is an opportunity to help shape the next generation of beauty professionals through clear instruction, practical guidance, and a strong commitment to high standards in the classroom and salon environment. As a Cosmetology Instructor, you will play a central role in guiding students through their training and supporting their progress toward licensure.

You will help create an engaging learning experience that blends technical instruction, demonstration, coaching, and accountability while working closely with campus staff to support student success.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging theory lessons and live demonstrations across core cosmetology techniques. Evaluate student practical work and provide individualized coaching for skill development. Maintain a safe, sanitary, and compliant salon classroom environment. Track student progress and support preparation for state licensing requirements.

Collaborate with campus staff to improve curriculum and student outcomes.

Requirements

Hold a valid cosmetology instructor license. Hands-on experience with haircutting, hair coloring, chemical texture services, and styling. Strong knowledge of state board standards, including salon sanitation and safety requirements. Eligible to work in the United States. Prior instructional experience is a plus.
