Temporary Contract School Crossing Guard- Police Department

The City of Port St. Lucie is an equal opportunity employer. This position is a contractual position, subject to the terms and conditions of an employment agreement, on a yearly renewable basis.  No City benefits available. This job is shift work, which is defined as working at a particular jobsite. Every worksite an employee reports to is a new shift.

Therefore, travel time is not compensable. Public safety work monitoring  the safety of children at assigned school crosswalk. Facilitates the development of public trust and confidence in the City.
