Recreation Maintenance Worker

Summary Perform unskilled and semi-skilled work in the maintenance and care of the grounds, playing fields, buildings, and City parks and recreational properties. Manual labor requiring the use of hand tools and light equipment operation. Employees also are involved in routine horticultural tasks, minor facility and equipment repair, and preparing playing fields for a variety of sports.
