Black Diamond Pest Control – Cincinnatiis looking for a dependable, motivatedPest Control Technician to join our growing team!

Pay: $18–$22/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM **One-hour lunch | Some weekends required **

**No pest control experience required — we will train the right person! **

What You'll Do

As a Pest Control Technician, you'll work directly with residential and commercial customers to inspect properties, identify pest activity, perform treatments, and help customers understand how to prevent future problems.

Your responsibilities

• Performing residential and commercial pest control services • Inspecting properties and identifying insects, rodents, pest activity, entry points, and contributing conditions • Applying appropriate pest control products and treatment methods • Explaining findings, treatments, and recommendations to customers • Completing accurate service reports and paperwork • Managing and completing a daily service route • Communicating with office staff regarding scheduling, customer concerns, and follow-up needs • Identifying opportunities for additional services when appropriate • Maintaining your company vehicle, equipment, and supplies • Following product labels, safety requirements, and company procedures

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

• Dependable and punctual • Professional and comfortable working directly with customers • Friendly with strong communication and customer service skills • Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions • Self-motivated and able to work independently • Organized and capable of managing a daily route • Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors • Comfortable entering basements, crawlspaces, attics, and other areas commonly encountered in pest control • Willing to learn about insects, rodents, wildlife, products, and treatment methods • Able to complete paperwork and service documentation accurately and on time • A team player who communicates well with technicians, office staff, and management

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record • Reliable attendance and transportation to work • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position • Ability to work occasional weekends when needed • No pest control experience required — we will train the right person • **Must obtain required pest control licensing within 90 days of hire **
