Job description

We are hiring CDL-A OTR Company Tanker Drivers out of our Omaha, NE and Sioux City terminals. We haul agriculture-based, food-grade, and hazmat liquids across the Midwest and lower 48 (Canada with passport). We pay HOURLY — for driving, loading, unloading, washouts, and even time waiting in line — so you earn for every hour on the clock, not just the miles.

First-year drivers average $95,000-$110,000 ($1,700-$2,400/week gross). SCHEDULE: Pick Monday-start (home Saturday afternoon/evening) or Sunday-start (home Friday afternoon/evening). Average load 250-515 miles; average load/unload/wash 1-2 hours each. Dispatchers manage about 25-30 drivers each. EQUIPMENT: Mostly Freightliner with some Volvo tractors — we replace the bottom 25-40 trucks each year (oldest currently a 2019).

Your tractor is assigned to you — no slip seat. Trucks come with TV, satellite, fridge, and a 2,500W power inverter. Our shop will install your CB, microwave, etc. during training. Isaac ELDs in every truck. Netradyne cameras face the road and sides only — NO inward-facing cameras. Most of the fleet runs opti-idle; APUs are in testing.

Truck idle bonus pays up to $2,600/year. TRAINING & PAY: 2-week combined orientation and training paid at $1,500/week salary, PLUS a $1,000 transition bonus on your first Friday so there's no pay gap when you join. Local Omaha drivers go home each night during training; out-of-town drivers get a private hotel room and transportation/mileage reimbursement.

Weekly pay every Friday via direct deposit. COMPANY: ~315 employees (190 drivers) across two terminals — Omaha, NE (main office) and Sioux City. More than half our fleet has been with us 3+ years. We do NOT haul gasoline or dairy. We do NOT offer owner-operator or local/home-nightly positions. POLICIES: No pets (keeps our equipment clean).

Passengers 10+ allowed. Take your truck and trailer home on time off when safe parking is available. Drivers are responsible for monitoring — and often performing — loading/unloading and tank washes safely. Minimum driver age 23.

  • Valid CDL-A
  • Minimum age 23
  • Tanker endorsement
  • Hazmat endorsement preferred
  • Willing to run Central US / lower 48 (Canada trips available with valid passport)
  • Company driver positions only (no owner-operators)
  • Must be able to monitor and assist with loading/unloading and tank washes
  • Able to stay out through the work week
  • Able to stay out through the work week (no local/home-nightly routes)
