Field Service Technician I

Join Toshiba America Business Solutions as a Field Service Technician 1 in Rochester, NY. $1,000 sign on bonus You’ll work with industry-leading office technology while supporting customers throughout your assigned territory. From troubleshooting and repairs to installations and upgrades, you’ll play a key role in keeping multifunction printers, copiers, and Managed Print Services (MPS) environments running at their best.

What you’ll do Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and other office technology at customer locations Provide product training and support to customers Diagnose equipment issues and perform installations, upgrades, modifications, removals, and retrofits. Complete service calls based on priority while managing your schedule effectively Maintain parts inventory, tools, and test equipment, and perform preventative maintenance Complete required Toshiba, dealer, and manufacturer training, and rebuild components in the shop as needed Accurately document service activities and follow safety policies and procedures What You’ll Bring High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 1 year of experience in technical repair, service, installation, training, or support of copier and office equipment, Photo ID systems/software, printers, ID Badge systems, fingerprint equipment, or comparable products Relevant education, certifications, or internships in related fields may be considered in lieu of the required experience Experience with document management systems, multifunction printers (MFPs), print devices, and/or 6 months of Shop Tech experience is a plus Intermediate computer skills and strong electro-mechanical aptitude Ability to lift 50 lbs.
