Senior Business Analyst

CUSTOMER Our Customer is a global provider of premium electrical installation and smart-building solutions for residential, commercial, and professional environments.

The company develops configurable products and digital services used by end customers, electrical installers, wholesalers, system integrators, and certified partners worldwide. PROJECT The project focuses on building a modern web-based customization platform that allows users to configure and personalize products using fonts, colors, styles, sizes, and graphical elements.

The platform supports guided design workflows, reusable configuration templates, bulk customization scenarios, and structured order management processes. The solution integrates with multiple enterprise systems, including authentication services, ERP platforms, product data management, and content management systems. The project follows an AI-driven software development approach that combines modern engineering practices with AI-assisted workflows and collaborative product delivery.

Key Technologies: Svelte, TypeScript, Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, Drupal CMS, ERP, MDM, CI/CD Work closely with the Customer to understand business needs, priorities, and expected outcomes Act as a Proxy Product Owner and support day-to-day product decisions Own and drive the requirements management process throughout the project lifecycle Collaborate with stakeholders on continuous backlog refinement activities Facilitate backlog refinement and clarification sessions with engineering teams Align business requirements with technical implementation approaches together with architects, developers, and QA engineers Support sprint prioritization and provide timely business decisions Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and contribute to process improvements Identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and ambiguities in requirements and drive their resolution Prepare and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and related BA documentation Support product demos, acceptance activities, and Customer feedback incorporation Apply AI-assisted approaches to requirements analysis, research, and documentation activities 5+ years of commercial experience as a Business Analyst in software product development Strong expertise in requirements elicitation, analysis, decomposition, documentation, and validation Proven experience managing product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria Experience working directly with Customers and facilitating requirements discussions Ability to independently own product and business decisions within the assigned responsibility area Product-oriented mindset with the ability to balance business value, user needs, priorities, and technical constraints Sufficient technical background to communicate effectively with engineering teams General understanding of APIs, integrations, data flows, and modern web application architecture Understanding of AI-driven development principles and AI-assisted delivery workflows Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills Proactive attitude with strong ownership and decision-making capabilities Advanced or Upper-Intermediate spoken and written English WILL BE A PLUS Experience in smart home, smart building, or building automation domains Previous experience acting as a Proxy Product Owner or Product Owner Hands-on experience with AI-assisted or AI-driven software development practices Experience with enterprise platforms involving multiple integrations and third-party systems Familiarity with ERP, CMS, or MDM integrations PERSONAL PROFILE Strong ownership mindset and proactive communication style Ability to challenge assumptions and drive productive discussions Structured and analytical thinking Comfortable operating in dynamic product environments Collaborative and solution-oriented approach Ability to align multiple stakeholders around shared product goals
