Small Engine Repair Instructor

Ladgov coorporation seeking a qualified Small Engine Repair Instructor to provide hands-on vocational training in a correctional education setting. The instructor will teach students the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of lawn mowers, weed eaters, fans, and other small-engine equipment using an approved curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

Provide classroom and hands-on small engine repair instruction for up to 15 students. Develop lesson plans and deliver state-approved vocational curriculum. Teach workplace safety, tool use, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair techniques. Maintain student training records and weekly project status reports. Safeguard tools, equipment, and Government property.

Qualifications

Relevant state/industry certification or license in small engine repair or a related field. Demonstrated small engine repair knowledge and instructional ability. Ability to successfully complete required facility pre-service training.
