Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Asia) Limited (“ICBC (Asia)”) is the flagship of overseas business of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited (“ICBC”) – currently the largest commercial bank in China, and it is one of the domestic systemically important banks (D-SIBs) in Hong Kong. Currently, ICBC (Asia) has 52 retail outlets (including 27 “Elite Club” Wealth Management Centres) in Hong Kong.

It is engaged in commercial banking, investment banking and other financial services, including those of securities, insurance and funds, with a focus on commercial and retail banking as well as global market business. Chinese Mercantile Bank and ICBC Asset Management (Global) Company Limited, two wholly-owned subsidiaries of ICBC (Asia), specialize in Renminbi services in mainland China and ICBC’s global asset management business respectively.

Job Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end development (SDLC) of regulatory report applications, focusing on data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data processing workflows. Maintain, tune, troubleshoot, and upgrade existing regulatory data applications. Coordinate with IT and business team on system enhancement and development arrangement Analyze and interpret business requirements, especially financial regulations (e.

g., capital adequacy, liquidity risk management, large exposures, regulatory reporting) . Job Requirements Degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related disciplines 8+ years of hands-on experience in data warehouse development, or business intelligence, with at least 3 years focused on designing/building/maintaining DWH/BI solutions for regulatory reporting or risk management within a major bank or financial institution.

Solid understanding of core banking systems and data domains (e.g., credit risk, financial reporting, or wealth management data). Proficient in Oracle / MySQL/Gauss DB database Excellent communication, interpersonal & analytical skills Experience in projects related to banking regulations (e.g., HKMA, Basel III, LCR, BELR, GDR ) will be an advantage.

Good command of both English and Chinese; Mandarin is an advantage Candidate with limited experience may also be considered, provided they demonstrate a strong academic background and proven project achievements.
