Cover Supervisor - Birkbeck Primary School

We are seeking a confident, flexible and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our friendly primary school team, adding to the cover supervisor team. This vital role involves delivering pre-prepared lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment during the short-term absence of class teachers, as well as providing planned cover for PPA and leadership release time.

The successful candidate will be adaptable and quick-thinking, as daily cover requirements can change at short notice. You’ll need to build positive relationships with children quickly, manage classrooms effectively and support pupils in continuing their learning with consistency and care. If you are a calm, reliable and proactive individual who enjoys working with children and contributing to a warm, supportive school community, we’d love to hear from you.
